Okay folks, this has really got to stop. I just spent much of the last hour visiting most of the Newsvine groups to which I belong in search of articles and seeds that I've missed over the past couple of months. The search was fruitful but it was also frustrating.

The 6-year-old company, with 12.5 million members, is banking on gaining -- and keeping -- consumers who are experiencing social-networking fatigue. Many have grown weary of maintaining a roster of friends that include family, co-workers and, at times, complete strangers.
We've received confirmation that Microsoft is handing over the reins to its MSN Groups property to the social network Multiply. Microsoft is planning to release a new service called Windows Live Groups in November, and apparently doesn't want to compete with itself.

The time for a Multiply group here on Newsvine has arrived, considering that more fantastic people are discovering both resources. This group is open to registered members of Multiply.com. Articles and seeds to this group must pertain directly to Multiply.com in some manner.

Ready for a little quality control? Try Multiply.com, a social networking site that's less a landing page (à la Facebook) than a series of feeds.
"Fresh off of yesterday's report that traffic at Facebook and MySpace may be declining in the US, Multiply, the social network that prides itself on being about real world relationships, is showing some fairly impressive growth statistics.
That is the latest view from Silicon Valley. Technology investors and entrepreneurs, long obsessed with connecting to teenagers and 20-somethings, are starting a host of new social networking sites aimed at baby boomers and graying computer users.
Multiply has not initiated any private discussions.
